Does anybody else see Homer Simpson crossed with a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle in the train smoke?

Questions: was there anything said about Roger's comment about the score being recorded in 32-track like Horner's? Was an early cut of the film with Delerue's score shown at the event? I seem to recall either Roger or Doug saying back then that thye Universal France held them up. Does anybody recall something like that? I guess not too many people got the CD from the event, since we've had almost no comments thus far. I'd have popped it in and listened to it probably twice by the time I left the event (if I lived on that side of the country and was there).

The event was not recorded and they did screen some scenes from the early workprint version that included Delerue's score. I don't think it's legally possible to record and share this event, because technically that workprint shouldn't be viewed by the general public. I was mainly referring to recording the speakers at the event and any Q&A, with or without the screening. Otherwise, you'll just have to keep on answering questions about what happened. Good point! Yep, I guess I'll have to provide answers based on what was discussed, unless someone else here on the board who attended wants to chime in... What did Colette Delerue talk about? She mainly responded to topics such as Delerue's composition habits, how he orchestrated each bar as he wrote, how much he loved Los Angeles and called her on his first day here for meetings to say that he wanted to live here. She talked about how when he had back surgery as a teenager and was laid up for 5 months, that all this time being unable to move and only think really shaped his character afterwards. He came out of that time knowing he wanted to be a composer and he was always the happiest, most positive person anyone knew. She and Delerue met when he was 15 and she was an assistant editor. He was also very proud of his work on "Something Wicked...".
