I'd check out Erik's link as that's a terrific way to discover what Bear has to offer. Personally, I find his Battlestar Galactica scores to not only be his best stuff, but some of the best music released this century by any composer - for TV or film. But to give you a range of his styles, I'd also recommend his Outlander scores and his low-key score for Europa Report.

IMHO, his best of the best (because of the more "traditional" style) are: The CAPE Agents of SHIELD

The CAPE GOOD GOD YES I would also add ANGRY VIDEO GAME NERD: THE MOVIE. It's only available digitally, but it's a helluva lot of fun. Blend of orchestra and 8/16-bit music.

Since AMC have no interest in putting out THE WALKING DEAD, WRONG TURN 2 is a good substitute.

I own a good number of his discs, probably at least 2/3 of what he's released or more. He's a fantastic composer, up there with Michael Giacchino among the younger composers in my book. "Battlestar Galactica Season 2" or "Outlander Season 1 vol 1" are probably a couple of the best places to start. "Davinci's Demons" is great too. I'd say that "Black Sails" might be his best single disc, but it's a real departure for him, so YMMV. Even better, listen to his stuff on Youtube before you buy. Listen to the recommendations here and check them out on Youtube first. FYI, I like "The Cape", but IMO it's something of a 'transitional' album for him, and I don't think it's a good place to start for a general listener, but you might love it... just check it out first.
