Well, based on positive comments here and elsewhere, I bought it, and, for me, it was a very long headache. Was looking for something to carry my "Kismet" Blu-ray order over the $35 mark to wipe out shipping and made a lousy choice. Too bad. Let me know if anyone is still looking for it. I'll pay the postage.

This cd is one I have pined for. I remember watching the TV series and enjoying the music.

I'll happily email you my address. (If you want to reach me directly, use my screen name here, at Yahoo.)

Thanks for offering this to the board, Ron.

Hi, DavidinBerkeley.

If you haven't yet gotten a copy of The Martian Chronicles CD (or for anybody else interested in this), there's a used disc for sale @ Dusty Groove (for $10! smile ):

You can still get if from Buysoundtrax. I got mine, and what must have been one of their last copies of Rubinstein's Blue Thunder, both at the same time - had to buy them from overseas, too.

I am not usually into sci-fi scores ,but THE MARTIAN CHRONICLES composed by Stanley Myers and ROCKETSHIP -XM by Ferde Grofe are two of my favorites.

I watched the TV series way back in the early 80s, and the thing I remembered most was the very good score; I audio taped (parts) of the show back then. Was so happy when it was finally released.
