Not officially confirmed by any sources yet, but at least according to IMDB (I know) he should be scoring the sequel, which is being directed by the same director as the first movie released a few years back. The movie is currently in post-production.
Playing this now...and...it's very great! A lovely throw back fantasy/action/adventure score in the Williams/Goldsmith tradition. Thankfully, this CD (unlike the first one) isn't ruined by any track indexing errors either. Lots of wonder, whimsy and comedic japery in a HOOK-like fashion. Track 26 (roughly translated = Thanks for Looking after us/caring) is amazing. Just a gorgeous, heartfelt Finale cue, developed beautifully over it's 6 min run time. It's gonna be fun getting to really know this one. Thoughts anyone?
