All is forgiven...

Congratulations for wasting your time on numerous DS9, VOY and ENT requests. There are not even 15 minutes of DS9/VOY/ENT material on the set altogether.

That's ok. You're still getting sets released. We've got the long requested animated series, the wind machine for TMP's inner workings and, I cannot emphasize this enough because it makes me so darn happy, the film version of Star Trek II's ending theme without the narration.

I've waited 15 years for a 'sans narration' track of TWOK's ending title and, wow. I'm still blown away by it that it actually happened. That and the animated series. What a special bonus that is going to be! I cannot wait to hear how they managed to get it.

I think it was a strategic move since they have about tapped out the TNG collection and have yet to touch Voyager and some material still remains that could be released from DS9 and Enterprise as a separate album. Chill out.

That is correct, thank you. The suggestions thread was absolutely essential and will be referenced for the upcoming DS9 and VOY albums!

I would love this commercial too - and have posted about it in other Star Trek threads.

I'm not sure if it was produced by a local Fox TV station, or if Fox TV would have this recording somewhere. The end of the clip looks like a local Fox station.

I would love if this showed up as an Easter Egg on one disc, but I have a feeling that it won't. smile

Thank you for the clarification, Lukas.

Well, I was disappointed since the set turned out to be a TOS/TAS/TNG/other compilation instead of the announced TNG/DS9/VOY/ENT one, although I appreciate the TOS/TAS/TNG/other selection.

The announcement of two upcoming 4CD VOY volumes and one DS9 volume as well as the consideration of requests for these makes me excited. I'm looking forward to enjoying the 50th Anniversary compilation.

As grateful as I am for this new set, I am a bit disappointed there isn't more DS9 or the others. Especially things from the Dominion War in season 6/7. I mean the main battle episode, "Sacrifice of Angels" is on the first DS9 Volume, but the cues when the Federation engages the Dominion are some of the best music from the series...and it was left off. So I hope it appears on one of the other sets...

Would have to agree that this seems like a mixed bag/mish mash/hodgepodge. This was originally described as TNG/DS9/VOY/ENT collection that would not be including stuff from the films due to different rights or whatever and obviously TOS was well covered by the massive box. I got excited about a bonus set essentially dedicated to McCarthy and Chattaway and the others, so it's a bit of a letdown to see the final product is in fact something entirely different.

I guess they are assuming that enough people are interested in some portion of this to shell out the $$$ vs. the original product idea that they were teasing. But with DS9 V2 and Voyager x2 on the way, I can't say I care too much.

Got an email from LLL about their STAR TREK VOYAGER COLLECTION: LIMITED EDITION (4-CD SET) - there's a typo that says shipping in 2016, so I was confused if this was an older release being back in stock.
Tracklist is here:

Months after it's release, I have an idea.
But, I'm months and months ahead for a 60th Anniversary set.

I would be curious to hear J. Peter Robinson's replacement score for CITY ON THE EDGE OF FOREVER.
And since the original series is tapped out now, why not create the scores to some fan favorites of the tracked episodes in order to have it represented on an Anniversary Collection set.
I would gauge fan reaction to this first of course since all the music has been heard before, but it might be cool to put on a disc with TURNABOUT INTRUDER, or ARENA, or ERRAND OF MERCY.

I recently re-watched all of DS9 and re-discovered many moments of score that I wish I had recommended for the 50th Anniversary set - especially since that set is most likely the last of the Trek TV score releases. These last 38 seconds of score by David Bell from Soldiers of the Empire would have been a nice addition to the one track we got on Vol. One of the DS9 set. I love these emotional Klingon moments.

This and the coveted Battle cue from Sacrifice Of Angels...

Agreed, Superman1701!

This is obviously a re-score of the scene in question but the HD remaster is glorious! What We Left Behind is a terrific documentary with some decent new compositions by Dennis McCarthy and Kevin Kiner.

Wasn't there talk of one final 4-disc release of unreleased cues from each of the series (TNG, DS9, Voyager and Enterprise)? Or have those plans been scrapped? If it's still coming, there's still plenty of great music that can be included.

In the Next Generation episode "Attached" Dennis McCarthy wrote a very brief, but beautiful piece for Picard and Crusher going over their feelings for each other. It has a very nice swell to it as they both try to sleep and wrestle with the fact they know each others thoughts. That would be a piece I'd love to see (and hear) on a release.

Oooo! I truly hope that is in the works! Maybe someone from one of the corresponding labels can confirm. If it is happening I hope we get to share our requests again. I think a lot of fans have revisited the series during this pandemic. Peeps should be good and acquainted with their favorite tracks. ;-)

Livio, is there a link to that scene on YouTube or a timestamp in the episode you could share? Would love to hear it. :-)

I looked over YouTube, but I could not find it. It's season 7, episode 8 and the cue starts at 32:29 and goes to 34:00. Hope that helps!

It announced a few years ago, and while the release timeline has obviously shifted since then, I suppose it's possible that that set will still be released! smile

Livio, very nice! Thanks. The last bit of music in Picard's quarters would also be a nice addition to a future release.

ShadowStar, that is good news! I hope it is still slated for a future release.

I would love to hear some more unreleased tracks that other's enjoy. :-)
