Gosh, that series is almost 7 years old now. I wonder if there is a chance that they might also release Murray Gold's score to the David Attenborough series LIFE STORY from 2014? That score got its own concert at the Proms last year.
It's taken such a long time, but it's such beautiful music. I'm very, very happy to see this get a release.
I wonder if, with the BBC beginning to open up its archives for sales (as they have recently done with programmes being made available for download), other gems might come out? Who wants to put bets on the Wallace & Gromit shorts getting a release? I hope so.

Not sure I'd describe this as 'opening up its archives'. This was only made 7 years ago, whereas the first W&G short was made in 1989.
Given how popular the series was, I'd assumed that Edmund Butt just wasn't interested in releasing it (although there is a promo, which I guess will comprise this release as it has the same # of tracks).
Will this score be available for download in the U.S ?
It's Silva so it will probably be available lossless and mp3 from their website.
We need more Edmund Butt and no if's and's or but's about it. Lot of great scores like Survivors (2008-9) and State of Play (2003). As for lossless Silva seems to have stopped that on recent releases though they use LAME MP3 format(320K).

I thought State Of Play was by Nicholas Hooper (it was directed by David Yates.)
Yeah, I too noticed it ain't viewable if you're in the UK. He does have a website though (via coolmusic) and you can hear some sample tracks there, together with other unreleased music by him.
Ta, James. Also: I think each and every one of your reviews for BBC documentaries has resulted in a purchase of the respective album. Nice feat!
Hooray!
