For those who can't wait for the CD, YELLOWSTONE is now available at Itunes or Amazon for download. It is without any doubt a majestic score befitting its subject. Rich in glorious melodies.

I see Silva no longer offer Flac downloads. Shame... Will have to wait for it to appear elsewhere.

Ta, James. Also: I think each and every one of your reviews for BBC documentaries has resulted in a purchase of the respective album. Nice feat! wink

Hooray!

The full list of purchases where your reviews either flat-out convinced me, or at least provided some important input, over the past thirteen years:

That's great - I hope you liked most of them!

I really do urge the good people of FSM to check this one out.
Combining the serene beauty of John Barry (really) with the gentle lyricism of Lee Holdridge (honest) AND the glorious majesty of Basil Poledouris (no sh!t), CD's like this are the reason I fell in love with - and still love - film music.
Oh and it gets even better the more you play it.
Someone give this fella some higher profile projects and let him write them HIS way!

I finally got this soundtrack as a birthday present. It's a beautiful score, as I'd expected. It certainly ranks up there with Fenton's work IMO, and should have had a proper release at the time of the programme's broadcast.

I thoroughly recommend it to one and all here.
