Tried to get Scarlett Violet, but they were all gone. These babies go quick. I bet today sometime they will be all sold out. Such a clever album. Can't wait to see the art better and up close in person. From the way LLL was talking about their disappointing sales of their superb CD issue, I think this is a title that sold better on LP than CD! Congrats, Mondo. Good call (but should have made more)! I love this score and film...though I liked it even better when it was called Murder By Death. Hard to believe they sold 1500 vinyls in less than a day. But they're not selling for the music, they're selling for the novelty. Would you buy multiple copies of Clue for the music or the collectibility of multiple vinyl colours? These sell because of the novelty. Because two formats are trying very hard to dominate the CD - both for the wrong reasons IMHO. Downloads (which are preferred for their convenience) and LPs (which are preferred for their novelty). I doubt there's a lot of crossover between the vinyl market and the CD market. Downloading and streaming are the real contributors.
