Warner Bros. Records will release Dario's score very soon, on the next 5th of August. They've been using "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" instrumental music on every trailer they've released until now, what it is not known yet is wheather Marianelli has used it as a theme for the film (it seem's that for sure will appear with the end credits). It wouldn't be very strange knowing that the composer has used and adapted pre-existing music on several films such as V for Vendetta, Pride and Prejudice, Atonement, The Brothers Grimm and of course, The Soloist and Quartet. Actually it is very common within his filmography.
Album track list:
1. The Impossible Waves 2. Kubo Goes to Town 3. Story Time 4. Ancestors 5. Meet the Sisters! 6. Origami Birds 7. The Giant Skeleton 8. The Leafy Galleon 9. Above and Below 10. The Galleon Restored 11. Monkey’s Story 12. Hanzo’s Fortress 13. United-Divided 14. Showdown with Grandfather 15. Rebirth 16. While My Guitar Gently Weeps – Regina Spektor
I'm all over this. I've been buying up all available Marianelli scores and with each one I become more of a FAN-ADDICT! Especially, THE WARRIOR, SHOOTING DOGS, BROTHERS GRIMM, IN THIS WORLD- my favorite.

I have all of his releases so far and they are all wonderful even The Return and I'm not really a fan of horror scores.
So... anybody hear this score yet? I will be ordering but money is tight right now but I'm looking forward to hearing what others have to say about it.
I've just listened to it on Spotify and it is a very nice soundtrack. It is very varied, and has a lot of action music, very percusive. The final song version has been arranged with a very good taste, orchestration-wise has a lot to do with the original score composed by Marianelli. This is just my first impression, and of course as you can imagine without watching the movie, but I really liked it. The main theme is beautiful and sweet. The only thing to me would be that it is kind of too short, 48 minutes is not enough, a kind of James-Horner-end-title-suite would've been great in order to take a bit more advantage of the main theme.
