SUBURBICON---the plot for the Coen brothers movie starring Matt Damon and Julieanne Moore: "is set in the quiet family town of Suburbicon, a place where the best and worst of humanity is hilariously reflected through the deeds of seemingly ordinary people. When a home invasion turns deadly, a picture-perfect family turns to blackmail, revenge and betrayal." George Clooney is the director.
POWER RANGERS---Lionsgate announced that Elizabeth Banks will play the villain Rita Repulsa in the reboot movie.
PENDERGAST---Spike TV/Gale Anne Hurd (THE WALKING DEAD) tv series underway based on the FBI agent Aloysius Pendergast novels. Pendergast specializes in investigating strange serial killings. The first novel in the series was made into the 1997 horror movie THE RELIC which starred Penelope Ann Miller and Tom Sizemore.
GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2---director James Gunn said the roles of Star-Lord's father and the main villain have been cast, but didn't reveal who the actors are. Kurt Russell is rumored to be playing Star-Lord's father.
THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW---Annaleigh Ashford (MASTERS OF SEX) will play groupie Campbell in the Fox remake of the cult classic movie.
THE SANDCASTLE EMPIRE---movie underway based on the young adult novel set in a dystopian future where Earth suffers from climate change and overpopulation. An oppressive rebel group called the Wolfpack overthrows the government. Four teens escape from a Wolfpack prison and seek to topple the Wolfpack. Leonardo DiCaprio is the producer.
AMERICAN GIRL---Amazon/Mattel are developing four live-action specials based on the Mattel doll line. * * * * * * * * BATMAN v SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE---reportedly, Scoot McNairy's character is an injured man who is "brought in to testify against Superman to the U.S. Senate" as the consequence of the injury. "[He's] also becomes a victim of Lex Luthor's campaign against the Man of Steel. One of Luthor's schemes in the movie involves turning McNairy's character into a human bomb of sorts, radicalizing him, in an attempt to get him close to Superman and to hurt him."

I can't begin to tell you how depressed I was the last few years at seeing Tom Sizemore in any number of schlocky projects. Nice to know that (presumably) he's cleaned up enough to appear in something 'Hollywood' again.
