We all know of Herrmann's skeleton music, but can you think of any other examples of a composer scoring scenes with living skeletons? I can't!

Danny Elfman's "March of the Dead" from Army of Darkness, plus Joe LoDuca's score from that film.

Did The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra have original score?

Angelo Badalamenti scoring the Harryhausen-inspired Freddy skeleton in Dream Masters (unless there was no score in that scene, but I have to imagine there was).

Prostrate skeletons received xylophone emphasis from Dr. Rozsa in both THE THIEF OF BAGDAD and THE GOLDEN VOYAGE OF SINBAD.

You know someone's going to make an asinine joke like "I didnt know skeletons had prostrates."

Expanding the question parameters further, one could suggest THE SKULL (1965, Elisabeth Lutyens), SCREAMING SKULL (1958, Ernest Gold), and CREEPING FLESH (1973, Paul Ferris).

If you get a little loose with the concept, there's Brad Fiedel's score for the Terminator "skeleton."

Did anything in particular trigger your interest in this topic, or just random curiosity?
