I'm watching this on the two-fer dvd. What an enchanting film and score! This is the first time I've come out of a Roy Webb film wanting the music.

Since you say this was the first time, David, I recommend you also come out of SINBAD THE SAILOR, MURDER MY SWEET and THE BODY SNATCHER.

What an enchanting film and score! This is the first time I've come out of a Roy Webb film wanting the music. You've got a wide world of wonderful Webb ahead of you. My favorite is Sinbad the Sailor, followed by The Spiral Staircase. Check 'em out! Yavar

Since you say this was the first time, David, I recommend you also come out of SINBAD THE SAILOR, MURDER MY SWEET and THE BODY SNATCHER. Only the first time I WANTED a Webb score, not my first hearing of his music. I've heard more than one, certainly, but can't recall any that jumped out at me the way this one did.

Hush, hush -- don't spoil my high opinion of your taste and discernment. When I wrote that post, I couldn't imagine your hearing those other scores WITHOUT wanting to have them!
