Thanks for posting, Preston. Here's an official video sample! (I think it's kind of adorable.)

You're very welcome, Sean. I've just added STAR WARS to the header, in hopes of enticing more people to read this thread.

As for the video, personally I find the visuals adorable, perhaps, the music less so.

Yeah, I noticed this news bit over at JWFAN, and I've been suspecting it for some time.

From the descriptions, it sounds like something up my alley (I was interested in electronic music way before I was interested in film music), but after listening to the samples, I'm less enthusiastic.

The only track I'm really looking forward to is the Röyksopp track -- which has already been played in some of their concerts (it's really good -- a cross between John Carpenter and Tangerine Dream?):

I give a lot of latitude to artists responding to other kinds of art, making it their own. Even if it's more of a novelty or a lark than an essential work.

That was better than the film.

That was better than the film.

Jupiter Ascending was a better Star Wars film than Episode VII.

I've seen both Lehah, so trust me when I say, Jupiter Ascending isn't better than anything!!
It's a steaming pile of....mess.
But the score's great!

As reviewed in today's L. A. Times:

I'll admit that the movie is not to everyone's taste but it is to mine.
