REQUIEM FOR A DREAM - music by Clint MANSELL

EDIT: Listened to it a second time today. I immediately recognized the theme even though I have not seen the film as it has been used ad nauseam (not a judgement on the quality of the music but rather the omnipresence of its use).

I'll be mulling it over for a while, but my first impressions are quite positive.

DEEPSTAR SIX - music by Harry MANFREDINI

Met Mr. Manfredini at Fans of Film Music event a couple of years ago. Having told him that his was my favorite score of the 89 undersea triplet (alongside Leviathan and The Abyss) produced what had to be a million watt smile. Nice, pleasant, talented fellow.

Volume 1. Volume 2 should be here in the mail tomorrow, along with my copy of the Batman v Superman score, and the new Star Wars Blu-ray! And maybe my copy of LLL's Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman as well smile

I've really enjoyed the scores for this series - especially Arkham City and the Christmas-tinged Arkham Origins. This one is pretty good - it probably would be more earworm-y for me if I had heard it before (I don't have a current-gen system to play the game), but it's enjoyable and very much in keeping with the previous scores.

A promo. Considering if I want to import it to my iTunes collection or delete it. It's a borderline case.
