I had a meeting with my U.S. representative about the vinyl revival. She thinks there is a good chance of passing legislation to place market restrictions on LP manufacturers, based on claims of price gouging, mental anguish suffered by consumers with a preference for CDs, or a combination of the two. I will keep you posted.

Sure fire purchase for moi. Enjoying my Twisted Nerve combo beyond words. Frankly, I'd have been ready to pay much more for the set, but please don't tell StyloTone (as I need the extra cash to pay for my Fanderson membership - which would be cheap at twice the price).

STYLOTONE has to be the first record label in history that cares not about making a profit or, at least, breaking even. Unless, of course, I'm mistaken and they've made quite a bundle thus far.

Sure,
Intrada, LLL, Kritzerland (especially) don't make a lot of money, but they do provide a high quality product in a form most easily accessible to earn revenue.

LLL learned quick with INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS that vinyl is a very, very, very niche novelty product. It's mind boggling why Stylotone insists on a big deluxe multi-format sets only and not a CD only option or LP only option or download only option.

MARNIE,
on the other hand,
45 only... okay, niche market satisfied

Before speaking with you was she aware of the so called "vinyl revival"? Price gouging is definitely happening with vinyl prices for single lp's ranging from $12 to $28. That's some bullshit and I've told record store owners here in Columbus. EX: I'm not buying the new HINDS album from you for $22 when I can get it on Amazon for $12.

BBC 2 was showcasing the original PSYCHO cues from STYLOTONE in their David Sedaris program hosted by Jonathan Ross. It appears that some MARNIE music is also left embedded there. Could this be a prelude to its forthcoming release?

Yeah, will there come a MARNIE-LP,with same treatment as TWISTED NERVE?

Don`t care about all the critics here.
I was VERY pleased with the opulent deluxe- treatment of Stylotone`s KARTHUM`s and TWISTED NERVE and would love to see more releases of Herrmann`s work that way!

GO ON, STYLOTONE!!!!

;-)
