Trailer link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-CKPj4O5_9s STAR WARS: EPISODE VIII---Prince William and Prince Harry visited the EPISODE VIII set at Pinewood Studios. One photo showed Mark Hamill and Harry in an A-Wing Fighter, slightly modified from the fighter used in the original movie. Premiere is on December 15, 2017. POWER RANGERS---photo released of Elizabeth Banks as Rita Repulsa in the remake movie. JUSTICE LEAGUE---Willem DaFoe will play a "good guy" in the two-part movie. AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON---Joss Whedon commented on the mixed fan reaction to his sequel, "Ultron, I'm very proud of. There are things that did not meet my expectations of myself, and I was so beaten down by the process. Some of that was conflict with Marvel, which is inevitable, but a lot of that was about my own work. And I was also exhausted, and we went right away and did publicity, and I sort of created the narrative, wherein I'm not quite accomplished at it, and people just ran with that: 'Well, it's okay, it could be better, but it's not Joss's fault.' And I think that did a disservice to the movie and to the studio and to myself, ultimately. It was not the right way to be, because I am very proud of it. The things that are wrong frustrate me enormously, and I probably had more of those than I had on other movies I made. But I also got to make, for the second time, an absurdly personal movie where I got to talk about how I felt about humanity and what it means in very esoteric and bizarre ways for hundreds of millions of dollars. The fact that Marvel gave me that opportunity twice is so bonkers and so beautiful, and the fact that I come off of it feeling like a miserable failure is also bonkers, but not in a cute way. It becomes problematic." STAN AGAINST EVIL---new IFC comedy horror series starring John C. McGinley (SCRUBS) and Janet Varney in which an ex-sheriff and his female successor defend their small New Hampshire town from its deadly demons. TIN STAR---Western miniseries underway starring Tim Roth (LIE TO ME) and Christina Hendricks (MAD MEN) in which a London police detective becomes the new sheriff of a small Rocky Mountain town. When a new oil refinery brings organized crime, prostitution and drugs with it, the sheriff and his family are threatened by assassins. THE LEARS---Bruce Dern, Anthony Michael Hall and Sean Astin star in this new sitcom based on KING LEAR in which a famous architect tells his dysfunctional children and their spouses that he's retiring and marrying his personal assistant. This causes jealousy and greed as the family jockeys for power. LASSO---Lindsey Morgan (THE 100) stars in this movie about two employees at a senior citizens center who battle a group of deadly, psycho cowboys from the local rodeo.
