Just received my vinyl of this score .I loved the first score but I think this is even more hauntingly beautiful than the first.
Love it & the vinyl presentation is just gorgeous .

A few things:

I agree that CANDYMAN II has some great moments (like Annie's Theme), but still can't agree that the second score is more emotionally powerful than the first. Just a matter of personal taste.

I wish there would have been a CD of the full original first CANDYMAN score. Wow, that score was great! The CD issued by Glass' company, Orange Mountain Records, only contained excerpts from both scores.

Which brings me to my next point... Unless you're a vinyl purist, why would you buy a vinyl pressing of 21:00 from CANDYMAN II when you can get the same music on CD, PLUS music from the first CANDYMAN film for half the price you're paying for the CANDYMAN II LP?

Just asking.
