The Tomorrow Never Dies DVD comes with an isolated score feature so there is still a way to enjoy all the music. It's better than nothing, I agree, but the isolated score is still no substitute for having the complete score on CD. With the isolated score, you can't enjoy the music apart from having the film playing and the severe volume jumps significantly intrude upon the listening experience. I think it's a little bit of a stretch to say there's a way to enjoy all the music.

... shame it feeds into the weak title song. But it was supposed to lead in to the k.d. lang song, sharing the same melody, which would have been awesome. Alas.

Good to hear we're on the same side in the fight for TND, Peter. And yup, as Marcato mentioned, the DVD isolated score has all the volume fluctuations that accompany the finished film. I never thought to check out the feature on the Blu-ray however. Will have to check that out and report back!
