Next week in Houston there will be concert featuring music from STAR TREK films and TV series. The program is fairly extensive and film clips will be projected on a large screen. The advertisement says just "Symphony Orchestra," so it's unclear whether the Houston Symphony is involved. The concert is apparently part of a tour. Are any of you aware of this concert coming to your locale?
Saw it here in Seattle earlier this month. It is well worth it. Excellent music and the orchestra was wonderful. All the series were touched upon, as were most of the films (I would have liked to hear London Calling from Star Trek 2009, but oh well...). If you are a Trek fan, you will love this concert. The music will be the glorious icing on the cake!
