The Japanese premiere of Philip Glass's Complete Piano Etudes will be performed in Tokyo on June 5th with Glass performing with his Japanese collaborator Maki Namekawa who recently recorded the whole set, as well as famous Japanese composer Joe Hisaishi
Namekawa performing Glass's etudes, a couple of them have been used in Glass's film scores including No.16 which you can tell was part of THE TRUMAN SHOW tapestry at some point, and No.20 which was drawn from his recent score to VISITORS:
