What an unexpected but awesome release! The complete soundtrack from the Ulysses 31 1981 cartoon series on a double CD release from original master tapes. Includes the totality of the score by Denny Crockett and Ike Egan but also Shuki Levy and Haïm Saban.

Samples can be heard here :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1-BQpDG_ic&feature=youtu.be

Tracklistings and release date can be found here :

https://www.discogs.com/Denny-Crockett-Ike-Egan-Shuki-Levy-Haim-Saban-Ulysse-31-Soundtrack-Ultimate-Edition-2-CD/release/8456022

Interesting, this CD is produced at Abbey Road studios in London.

Very cool news - there have been a number of releases for this series. This one being the most recent which is only 31 tracks. This upcoming July release looks great.
http://www.amazon.com/Tele-ULYSSE-anniversary-special-soundtrack/dp/B01AASWRI4/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1462364995&sr=8-2&keywords=ulysses+31+cd

Since this label has only released Ulysses 31 tunes - I doubt they will be looking to release any other Shuki Levy music.

But I hope we see more releases.

The release you are taklking about (Tele 80 - 31 tracks) contains only Levy and Saban material.

The forthcoming release contains 119 tracks on 2 CD´s and contains everything that was heard in the show, even sound effects and plenty of unreleased stuff.

One of the greatest themes going! Can't recall the other music in it but will check it out.

I don't know the show but the samples sound fun. More complete cartoon music libraries plz!

This is the release I currently like best, which has a bunch of music on it. Very cheap on Amazon.uk too.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/ULYSSES-Original-Soundtrack-Denny-Crockett/dp/B00CJ01UJO/ref=sr_1_sc_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1462446573&sr=8-2-spell&keywords=ulyssees+31

But it looks like the upcoming release is the one to aim for.

Never heard of this (1981 was before my time; I was only 4), but I love the TV work of Saban and Levy a few years later. Massive nostalgia for those. Hope some of that gets a proper release too. A few things, like INSPECTOR GADGET and HE-MAN, are already out.

I don't. But I am cautious because there's just the Discog entry and YouTube samples. I am searching Google for other information.

Nothing unusual since the release date is only on the 15th of July. I suppose it will be visible on amazon in a few weeks. All copyright information on the CD looks immaculate. They even have an "exclusive license" for this music. So nothing to worry about

Wow, this is great news!
I love the series and the music. (Kind of regretted now that I bought the previous soundtrack)
And I really like it too that they didn't combine the cues in longer tracks as in the existing latest release.

Hope now for the series to be on Bluray!

Agree, this seems like the definitive release!
What I didn't notice right away is that even the famous track when Ulysses fights the cyclops is included on this release (at 2:42 in the youtube clip : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1-BQpDG_ic&feature=youtu.be)
This track on its own makes this a must have!

Thor I think this is one of the 10 best soundtracks for animation series and I highly recommend you to grab it.
it's quite sophisticated too..

I'm curious about this release — and a bit skeptical.

I enjoy the hell out of the Parallax-rerecording of the music and would love to see an original release. This mentioned album would do the trick, but I find it odd that there's no mention of a release date and that it seems that the only information of this label is *this* release.

Does anyone know anything else?

It's announced for the 15th of July: http://ulysse31.jimdo.com/

The producer of this new release is Laurent Dobbelaere, he produced the 2013 Expert Music version and helped David Colin produce the Parallax version.
