You know, this reminds me of something that's relatable and it seems not many people know about.
This is undoubtably one of many forums people here post at. A number of forums try to make revenue to afford to stay afloat by using ad services, but something disturbing has been occuring and I don't know how long it has been occuring.
Google AdSense has been threatening people over images posted on forums that use their AdSense ad service, and certain things written (like in fan fiction). They send a complaint any time they find an iamge that offends, including nudity, but also even things that you'd find on covers of magazines in any book store or grocery store, like Sports Illustrated. It's gotten so bad at one forum I post at that the fear of loosing the revenue over one image has caused forced censoring to absurd degrees. Nobody likes it, but Google has decided: Fuck you, you'll self censor your users or else.
Right now of course it's images they deem offensive and certain wrirings, but who knows what that will expand to.
Erotic banana eating seems pretty tame in comparrison.
