I'm buying this for the improved sound quality, the original release was mastered way too loud.

CLUBS ARE SHIPPING!

PLEASE give us TWO WEEKS before inquiring on your order. We want to spend more time at our work bench packing boxes than answering questions and writing: "no, your order hasn't shipped and we don't know when it will."

REST assured we will get to them all, as you can see we have quite a few orders this time around so it will take time to get through them all. Wait TWO WEEKS before inquiring smile

We thought they were shipping June 1st.

There were apparently delays receiving the discs from the pressing plant. This was outlined on the Starship Troopers thread.

I'm also sorry to report that I experienced a similar issue (glitches / dropouts) in track 2 of the new edition of JOE VERSUS THE VOLCANO as well (in the first 20 seconds of the track). I also bought VOLCANO, but have not listened to any of it yet.

Can anyone else confirm this as well?

Yes, I received my order yesterday and ripped it to iTunes and loaded up my iPod. When I was listening this morning the track in question started skipping. However just to be safe I'm going to check the disc when I get home on different CD players just to make sure.

I tried it in three different players, and had similar issues in all three.

Yep. Happening on mine as well.

Had a similar experience with the "Festiwal Muzyki Filmowej W Krakowie 2016" disc of the recent limited edition batch. First track again. Same kind of glitching.

Good grief!

And they took our money a month up-front to pay the manufacturer to make these!

Well, I listened to most of it this morning. I love this score and it sounds great.

I played through disc 1 of STARSHIP TROOPERS as well, and that's also an amazing release, despite the glitch. It sounds like Varese is going get the manufacturer to issue new discs, so it seems that the only consequence we've got to live with is a glitchy track or two for a few weeks until we get the replacements. Doesn't seem like the end of the world to me.

A voice of reason in a field of bitchiness.... What's wrong with you, man?

We had the EXACT same issue as Starship Troopers on this. What's more interesting is this digital nonsense starts at the EXACT same time as Starship. 25 seconds into the entire disc. Starship had issues on discs 1 and 2, track one on both at the 25 second spot which happens to be track 1 of both discs.

Joe Vs. The Volcano, had the same issue, but since the first track is 21 seconds long, the digital nonsense is on track 2 at roughly :04 seconds.

We are on it, the plant knows about it and are hurrying to get this fixed ASAP since this was their mistake.

More news soon, but thanks everyone for the patience during this. Again, our master that was approved was perfect so this is a manufacturing plant issue.

Hang tight, more soon. I'll try to keep you updated.

Thanks for the update. I second the voices here saying that the rest of the disc sounds great. Can't wait to get the replacement!

Wow. Sorry you had to deal with this. I know what it's like when you have a glitch in something due to a vendor. It's a real pain.

I haven't received my order. So, I'm guessing the glitch was caught and some orders were held until the corrected discs arrive.

Thanks for the update, Peter!

I ordered at Intrada and nothing has shipped. Hopefully orders will be paused awaiting new stock, and that new stock will be properly packaged, not just slipped into paper sleeves! Fingers crossed...

a) things like this happen, such is life. b) good things will come to those who wait.
