There's never been a future cop like Jack Deth, who transported himself from the post-apocalyptic LA of 2247 to a post-punk City of Angels, circa 1985, to singe "Trancers." 31 years later, Charles Band's quirky sci-fi film remains a cult favorite, powered by the wisecracking chemistry of stars Tim Thomerson and Helen Hunt that in turn created one of Full Moon's most popular franchises. Creature Features salutes this franchise, and Intrada's new release of the scores to "Trancers" 1 -3 with a cast and crew reunion and audience Q&A featuring actors Tim Thomerson ("Zone Troopers") and Andrew Robinson ("Hellraiser"), composer Richard Band ("Re-Animator"), screenwriter Danny Bilson ("The Rocketeer") and "Trancers III" director C. Courtney Joyner ("The Lurking Fear"), moderated by "Trancers" album liner note writer Daniel Schweiger. This "Trancers" event will begin at 2 PM at Creature Features in Burbank. Admission is free, though seating is first come, first served. Merchandise will also be able available to purchase from the cast and crew for a separate charge. Signed Trancers 1 - 3 albums are also available via Creature Features. Pre-orders begin this Friday May 13th at noon. We look forward to seeing you Squids at this salute to the ultimate time-travelling trooper! http://creaturefeatures.com/

The Creature Features Trancers event is tomorrow, as actor Richard Herd ("V," "Star Trek: Voyager") joins our assemblage of performers and behind the scenes squids that created the coolest, and synth-grooviest future cop series of all. Be the first to get Intrada's new 2 CD release of the complete scores to Trancers 1 - III signed by our attendees, or get the CD online if you can't make it to 1985 Burbank. We look forward to see you there. Just make sure your hair isn't dry! Please note the start time has been moved up the line to 2:30 PM.

Received my autographed CD set, in the UK, yesterday. Thanks Creature Features! A great consolation to not being able to attend the event! Finally, I get to listen to an official release of the atmospheric scores to these movies. Better late than never :-)

Helen Hunt attended spontaneously or why isn't she listed as "Scheduled Guest"on that poster/banner? Helen preferred to be a surprise guest, and I was beyond thrilled that she attended. Never thought in a million years we'd actually get her, but thanks to the inspiration of Zach Tow, who cut a cool pre-show Trancers trailer for us, I contacted her agency and she agreed to attend, as she's still close friends and a surfing buddy of Tim's. Helen couldn't have been more graciously awesome, or have a better time reminiscing. A real treat to me, the audience and her co-stars. My only regret is that we couldn't have fit even more Trancers alumnus on the stage.
