LESLIE on a Victor Young Decca LP he did in the 1950s. Do you know on which Victor Young Decca LP this theme can be found? As far as I can see it, it is not on the more famous Victor Young Decca LPs "Cinema Rhapsodies", "Hollywood Rhapsodies" and"Night Magic" from the mid-50s and also not on the CD compilation "Cinema Rhapsodies: The Musical Genius of Victor Young". There is one other Decca compilation with the title "Imagination" from 1956 on which there are also three Young tracks. Maybe age is catching up with me? There are some songs written by Young and no film is mentioned. I often wondered if some of these themes are from films he scored? One song, RITA, may have been written for his wife whose name was RITA! I do have a Decca 45 rpm single of Victor Young conducting THE PROUD AND PROFANE. I bought this LP when it came out in the 1960s, always enjoyed the Victor Young suite.
