It seems that the lp-version of The Force Awakens has an easter egg.

Viewed an a certain angle, in a light that's bright enough, holograms of a Tie Fighter and the Falcon will appear. Now there's something you can't do with a download big grin

Does anyone own this?

From The Disney Music Emporium page "This is a pre-order. Expected ship date is June 15, 2016." So it isn't out yet.

Like the "Superman II" LP, or Styx's "Paradise Theater" album....

I wonder if such things effect the sound in any way.

Geez, so much Star Wars and (somewhat lesser) Star Trek crap in the world.
Some day there will be a giant space junkyard full of all of this stuff.

This is the most desperate marketing ploy, Obi-wan.

"It's merely old data. Pay it no mind."

That's pretty damn cool! I won't be buying it, but it's still pretty damn cool.

Yes. I got it to go with my vinyl copies of the other six STAR WARS film scores, which I got as a Christmas gift in a box set.

And to answer my own question from my above post, the holograms are in the extra wide run-out grooves. So no, they should not effect the sound. (I don't plan on actually playing it; I prefer CDs, and don't plan on taking my old turntable out of storage....)
