Sorry for creating a misunderstanding

Actually, it was rather amusing.

Just to alert you now, if you ever indicate that you dont like the FRENCH CONNECTION, expect me to paraphrase Hackman's character with "Maybe you were too busy picking your feet in Poughkeepsie?"

THE FRENCH CONNECTION?!!!!! That piece of crap!

No, actually quite superb. Remastered Blu-ray a must-have if you're a serious collector and all-round cinephile. Back inthe days of laserdics, I wrote to Criterion and asked them if they ever considered getting that film (among others), they wrote me back and said "Of course, but unfortunately Fox doesn't license their titles to other companies." I think that situation has changed these days.

As for my feet.... mind your own business, you wanker!

Who you calling a wanker?!

Yikes! I'm outta here!

lol. Now I'm sure you know that's a cop from Friedkin's movie "Cruising," and just like Hackman's "picking your feet in Poughkeepsie" line, it's another "real life" non-sequitur police ploy to confuse or abuse suspects. The rationale was who would believe you were tortured by a naked cop with a cowboy hat?

Yeah, that's a problem with a lot of Altman flics.
Lotsa mood & atmosphere, not a lot of plot and character.

Probably one of the reasons why I like him so much. I'm not that interested in plot and characters.

Really?

so, how come you are a fan of GOT?

huh/ huh?
smile
brm
