THOR---Mel Gibson said he was approached to play Thor's father, Odin, in the original movie, "Yeah, [I was approached] long time ago to play Thor's dad. But I didn't do it." Anthony Hopkins played the role.
Gibson commented on superhero movies, "Some are good. Some are kind of funny … 'Guardians of the Galaxy.' Or the first 'Iron Man.' And some of them are just like [retreads]. I mean you can watch them do Spider-Man five times … There is a slight shift in film. But, then again, I think all films are suffering from people not being able to now open them with their name. It's a different kind of business these days."

KURSK---Colin Firth will star in this movie about the 2000 sinking of the Russian nuclear submarine Kursk after one of its torpedoes accidentally exploded. The script is by Robert Rodat (SAVING PRIVATE RYAN).

LOGAN LUCKY---Daniel Craig and Katherine Heigl are in negotiations to co-star in this Steven Soderbergh movie about two brothers committing a heist during a NASCAR race in Charlotte. Channing Tatum, Adam Driver, Seth McFarlane and Riley Keough also star.

HOMELAND---showrunner Alex Gansa said the new season will be set in New York, "The entire season will take place between election day and inauguration day. It's an interesting time; a transition and transfer of power is happening. In that 72 days, we're hopefully going to tell an interesting story. Whether the president is male or female, it's going to be a very interesting character."

HARLOTS---Hulu/ITV series underway about two rival madam brothel owners involved in 18th century London's sex trade. Samantha Morton, Lesley Manville and Jessica Brown Findlay star.

As I posted above, there are no photographs in the movie/tv news because of technical problems.
My pc started having the Startup Repair/Normal Startup Blackscreen and Crash Dump Bluescreen problems again this morning.
When I finally got the pc online (possibly by using System Restore), I was unable to connect to Google, Yahoo, Yahoo email or Youtube because the connections are not secure. However, I can connect to FSM, ebay, Amazon, etc. also, my History function stopped working.
As a result, I'm pretty blind not being able to connect to Google or Yahoo email.
Anyone with a solution to this new problem, please post it in my PC Problems, Part 2 thread.

Wouldn't Lazenby be the youngest when they filmed OHMSS at 29? I don't mind going young(er) but the actor needs some maturity and gravitas (sorry, I hate that word but had nothing better) lacking in 99% of 30 year old actors these days. I think Lazenby had it and looks nothing like a 29 years old.

But as to the 5' 7"....? Ummm, no. Roger Moore's physicality for the role was bad enough.

Sorry about your continued PC problems. Pictures are nice but not mandatory. Great read as always.
