Does anyone know if a proposed track lineup for the planned Spartacus Volume Two was ever assembled? If so, does anyone know what it may have looked like?
I'm sure some thought would have gone into the sequencing of LP #2, but considering the jumble that is LP #1, I'm good with the reasonably C&C Varese CD.
So is there any correlation between the surviving stereo tracks and the shelved LP?
I believe the surviving stereo tracks were in consideration for the aforementioned double album, and was then whittled down to the album we have known for decades. There wasn't enough prepared for a “Volume 2,” I think that idea came from the liner notes of one of the unmentionables that included those cues.
