I've posted about the film and score before. Thought I'd bring it up again.

What do you all think of this post Godfather/Dog Day Afternoon Al Pacino movie? Sydney Pollack directed BOBBY DEERFIELD. Also what do you think of Dave Grusin's score? Thanks.

Never released on CD, would you buy a CD release? I would enjoy it on CD along with Grusin's music from another Al Pacino scored movie, the jazzy funky scored AND JUSTICE FOR ALL. Varese did release the 3rd Dave Grusin Al Pacino collaboration, the bouncy TOOTSIE like AUTHOR! AUTHOR!

The Trailer for BOBBY DEERFIELD with Dave Grusin's underscoring:

Here's a cue from the 1977 LP Soundtrack of BOBBY DEERFIELD called "Ritorno":

Here is a cue called "Freedom Flight" which underscores a nice Balloon Regatta Scene in Italy. I find Grusin's DEERFIELD score Hauntingly Beautiful.
