Not QUITE my cup of tea, the comedy in this one (neither the Horner parody nor the snide Zimmer remark -- a gimmick that is getting rather tiresome by now), but it's done with a lot of heart. And they did nail quite a few of Horner's elements (chord changes & leaps, percussive elements). I missed a crashing piano.
I love the bit, "Without James Horner..... how will they know that danger's near?" - and danger motif appears in the middle. It's irreverent and touching, and I'm sure the Zimmer "raspberry" was done in the same good humour as the knowing winks to Horner's own traits.
I love it! As others have said, it's funny, touching but also very catchy. I'd love to know who does the vocals on it? Also, checking out the Kaplans site, I didn't realise that Jon & Al were behind Predator: The Musical or that there were more.
I think this deserves to be re-upped after a year. Great work guys. Was that supposed to be someone doing Arnold Swarzenegger's voice? Sounded more like my Uncle Siggy.
