...and I thought you were referring to Northern Ireland, Wales, and England being knocked out of EURO 2016...

Edit: Bah! BillC already told a less-funny variation on this olde chestnut.

Scotland voted to stay in, and they're now pushing for a new referendum. That means no UK. NI will have the same old border checks and customs as it did back in the '60s .... the ones Villiers says weren't ever there.

Every ill was projected onto the EU, they took the rap for every malcontent.

On a lighter note, we need to ask how this will affect Tadlow Music. Believe me, the horror is only starting.

As you know, William, I buy my shoes from Northern Ireland, so this historic event affects me personally.

On the bright side, all of those spoiled whiners in the US complaining about the high price of the Stylotone Twisted Nerve release can finally buy it. wink

And I thought the US was going to be the downfall of the world economy. Thanks for saving us the shame and embarrassment!

In the short term, you'll get them cheaper... the £ took a nosedive against the $ today. But anybody importing from the US will hit higher prices. And EU tariffs later of course...

Yes, I posted something to that effect regarding the £ in an earlier post. smile

Forget Tadlow! The question on every FSMer's mind is how all of this will affect Star Wars!

BLOODY BRILLIANT!

I thought you'd get a kick out of that. I can't take credit for creating it, alas, but I'm happy to spread it around.

NI voted to remain as well, of course. Fortunately for those born in NI, we can still get an Irish/EU passport which will allow free movement and the right to live and work in other member states. I can imagine people across Britain now checking their ancestry and the Irish DFA being inundated with applications!
