This is great news. Who would have thought that the composer would start the second part of his film career as a 76 year-old?

This will be very interesting. I have a lot of time for Giorgio. His iconic scores from the past can only bode well for this new project.

It is very well known that Hill is no fan of orchestral/symphonic scores so hiring Moroder makes sense.

I hope this is actually good. Bullet to the Head was a joke.

Perhaps, although Moroder hasn't done a feature of a certain size since Over The Top in 1987, or maybe Let It Ride in 1989.

I guess Goldsmith's Extreme Prejudice and Horner's Red Heat are among the Hill-films with an orchestral score.

Did anyone see this film? It's called THE ASSIGNMENT.

This completely passed me by. Need to seek it out -- Walter Hill, Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez, Giorgio Moroder, it has all the makings of a good experience, although it received mostly negative reviews, it seems.

I love a lot of Giorgio Moroder's work, e.g., Midnight Express and Flashdance.

(Some other names come to mind...e.g., Harold Faltermeyer, Keith Forsey and Pete Belotte...did they work with Moroder?).
