Actually, there never were any Celts, it's just a broad term for all sorts of ancient folk all over Europe, even in Germany. But there's certainly Celtic or Gaelic genetics. But in Ireland, the Celts were still around up until the 12th Century when Henry II got invited in and then pooped the party. So ... they're still Celtic. And in Scotland, whence a lot of my DNA also springs, there's tons of stuff, Picts, invaders etc.. I may be a bit Italian. But my Mum's maiden name was Welsh. Those buggers let us down.
Even in England, Celts didn't just disappear when the Romans turned up, and they stayed long after they left. King Arthur ... now THERE was a Celt they nicked from us.
Of course, God knows what you colonials are. You can safely say you're descended from an ape of course.

Yes, we get two passports. That means good free medical treatment abroad with an EHIC card, even if we leave Europe, and front of the cue for EU passports at airports.
And we get to live when we travel to the Middle East.
