Hello all
I'm new to these message boards, residing in the UK. I've been purchasing soundtracks on & off over the years but have recently got back into them in a big way. I've recently discovered the delights of labels such as Intrada & La-La-Land. Coming to it a bit late though I'm being frustrated by having missed the boat on some titles which are now OOP. For example, I happened upon SEVEN DAYS IN MAY & THE MACKINTOSH MAN & whooped for joy (MACKINTOSH MAN is a favourite of mine) only to be crushed by its now virtual unavailability. I've discovered other titles which I've had to fork out £20-£30 for. Is there anywhere online which sells these OOP titles readily or is it a long trawl through Amazon & Ebay & a hope there's a seller who isn't in the market for ripping customers off? Given that I live in the UK I'm also mindful of potentially extortionate import taxes on US purchases. Is it a case of tough luck? Hopefully somebody can help me in my dilemma.

Hi, Mr. Bronoli.

Welcome to FSM.

I've been collecting soundtracks since 1985 (both LPs & CDs). Because you like Maurice Jarre and film music from the 1970s & 1960s, I expect your tastes are similar to my own.
Though I have a lot of soundtracks from the 1990s & 2000s, my preference is for pre-1980s music.
In addition to Hollywood scores from the 1950s onwards, film music from Italy, France, Japan, etc. also resides with me.
Many discs in my inventory are currently OOP, but I'm not an actual vendor.

If you wish to communicate further, let me know here and then we can exchange contact info ...

Regards.

Also, don't rule out discogs.com marketplace.

Currently selling Varese, French and Italian soundtrack CDs.

But we are auctioning another 70 LaLaLand titles in our next auction.
