Leaving drydock scene from Star Trek 2 Wrath of Khan. It was really cheesy seeing them reuse old effects from the previous film, and the film stock looked quite different from the rest of the movie.
Also the scene appeared to serve no other purpose than to pad the run time.


Nope- that stays. 'Thunderbirds', for instance, would be nothing without the vehicle and hardware porn. You can't have too much of The Lady 'E'.


That said, the last scene or so of 'American Psycho' There is a point at the end where it is revealed that the final murders (or much of the movie) were in Bate's mind. The scene is easily snipped out leaving everything presented as actually happened. It seems a stronger statement, like all the carnage in 'Robocop'.
