TUESDAY, JULY 12

FRANKENSTEIN---Javier Bardem is in talks to play Frankenstein's monster in the remake movie. Reportedly, the other Universal Pictures remakes might have Johnny Depp in THE INVISIBLE MAN and Dwayne Johnson in THE WOLF MAN.

WONDER WOMAN---Warner Bros. released the official synopsis for the movie starring Gal Gadot, “’Wonder Woman’ hits movie theaters around the world next summer when Gal Gadot returns as the title character in the epic action adventure from director Patty Jenkins. Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny."
The writers were confirmed to be Allan Heinberg and Geoff Johns.

NCIS---Jennifer Esposito (BLUE BLOODS) has joined the cast as NCIS Special Agent Alex Quinn. Wilmer Valderrama (THAT '70S SHOW) has also joined the cast as an NCIS agent.

THE WALKING DEAD---Laurie Holden said her character was not originally supposed to be killed off in Season 3, “Well I had an 8 year deal, I was supposed to be there until the end. I was supposed to end up with Rick. I was supposed to save Woodbury on a horse, and I was buying a house in Atlanta. I got the call at 10 o’ clock the night before, while I was shooting, from the show runner [Glen Mazzara] who is no longer a part of The Walking Dead, saying that they couldn’t write the episode and that he was killing my character. So we all got the script everybody on the set was sobbing. I felt like I got shot. None of it was supposed to happen the way it did.”

FEAR THE WALKING DEAD---new photo released for Season 2.

KINGSMAN: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE---Colin Firth was confirmed as returning for the sequel.

FARGO---Carrie Coon (THE LEFTOVERS) will co-star with Ewan McGregor in Season 3. Coon will play Edna Valley Police Chief Gloria Burgle.

BATTLEFIELD---tv series underway based on the video game.

RENT A HERO---movie underway based on the video game. Steve Pink (HOT TUB TIME MACHINE) is the writer/director.

IN MY SHOES---movie underway based on the autobiography of Jimmy Choo co-founder Tamara Mellon.

I'm actually interested in seeing Russell Crowe as Dr Jekyll in The Mummy, and Bardem would seem like decent casting as the creature in Frankenstein.

I don't know about other guys here, but I've always liked Jennifer Esposito. I was mad that she got the boot from BLUEBLOODS.

I've never watched one NCIS show, but now I may check this one out in the Fall.

As to the Universal Monster remakes.... be afraid, be very afraid.

I liked her a lot in Spin City. Haven't seen her in much else.

She doesn't seem to have aged in 20 years, either.

I'm conflicted by this. I could see him doing a really good job with this role. On the other hand I want him to retire.

Sounds like she's buying into the preemptive war philosophy. Big mistake! wink

We just had a f—king Wolf Man remake a few years back!

Still no Gill Man. My money shall remain in my pocket till he returns.

FrankenWoman, or Wonderstein.

Anyway, WONDERWOMAN - I don`t think they should divulge details of their movie plots all the time. It saps the interest I`ll have in the film before I go see it: less surprise.

I was under the impression that they was going to cancel NCIS but it seems I was wrong and I am happy to be wrong since I really like this series. However I am gonna miss DiNozzo since he alongside Abby is my two favorite characters.

Don't worry, that's a very general plot description, no different from what they disclosed months ago. They haven't confirmed which villain(s) are in the movie, or which other heroes may appear. It's my most anticipated film of 2017 (what's a "Star Wars"?).

At least they're not hemorrhaging data about the movie a year in advance, the way Marvel does.
