My wife & i enjoyed the film and have to say i loved the score ! I met Daniel Pemberton last year in London and at the time he was in the process of scoring this film. I bought the soundtrack immediately after watchibg the film and have been playing it constantly since, for me its a winner

The best laid plans..it has turned out to be a colossal dud, both critically and commercially. There is not a resevoir of passion for the Arthur stories, much less a rock'n roll-ized Guy Ritchie version, which looks very dated - like 20 years ago, when it just came out. The miscalculation at the studio backing this one, well, it was just a very bad mistake, and very expensive one. It is a clear case of an idea sounding 'cool' on paper, but there is no demand for it, and when it is put to film it is tossed aside as a junked-up mish-mash. To imagine that they wanted this to be a whole series of films, they were so far off in the calculating the audience for this material, and executed it so badly.

Further up the thread, I said that I'd listened to samples and it wasn't for me. Have now listened to the complete score and have to say I'm really impressed. Vibrant, rhythmic, unusual. I must watch the movie ....
