I'm all worn out on superheroes (was that never that into them in the first place), so even if this may look interesting, I think I have to skip it. At least postpone it untill I get the energy to watch some of this stuff again. From the pilot, it's more like One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest meeting up with A Clockwork Orange and Scanners. Anticipating what will be next from this new series littered with great actors (Dan Stevens, Bill Irwin, Mackenzie Grey, Aubrey Plaza). Give it a shot, Thor. It's only about superheroes in name. Noah Hawley couldn't be less interested in David's powers except as a playground to explore an abstract and elliptical (read: trippy-as-hell) story about the nature of reality. It's also one of the most visually inventive series you'll ever see. It may eventually move towards a more traditional narrative about using mutant powers, but even then, it wouldn't really be traditional. Hawley and his writers make clever, gorgeous, sometimes hilarious use of the powers. Anyway, there are a lot of reasons not to watch this show but being tired of superheroes shouldn't be one of them.
