Sorry to hear this. What is it with BABYLON 5 actors passing away WAY too early? It does seem to be hit a little harder than the average show, doesn't it? Richard Biggs, Andreas Katsulas, Jeff Conaway, Michael O'Hare... all gone. And now Jerry Doyle, too. I do understand that in Katsulas's case, it was lung cancer brought on by his long smoking habit, but I don't know about the others. I'll miss Doyle. I was no fan of his politics, but I understand he was still a generally nice guy, and I love him as Garibaldi.

Oh, man... He was pretty great as Garibaldi, and remembered well.

I used to know Michael O'Hare, years ago, when he was an undergrad at Harvard, and I used to do a lot of plays there. We lost track in years since, though I heard he dropped out to go to Julliard, then he did a few films and some TV work, of which Babylon V seems to be the best known. Any further info on him would be appreciated. Thanks.

After O'Hare's death it was revealed that he suffered from mental illness for a number of years, and this had been the real reason behind his departure from BABYLON 5 and semi-retirement from acting. He made B5 producer J. Michael Straczynski promise to keep his illness secret until his death.
