Trip down nostalgia lane. Great, varied, fun program that reminds me of how wonderfully talented, nearly unmatched really, an artist Mr. Goldsmith was. And yes, I do unashamedly love Criminal Law. There, I said it... again.
A great example of Howard's terse, agitated early 90's "urban malaise" style (The Fugitive, Eye For An Eye, even the darker portions of Grand Canyon) . The Intrada CD has a few zone-out spots (the old b00t -- which I'll hond onto until the Flatliners half finally gets a legit CD release -- contained only the highlights), but certainly showcases Howard's impeccable gift for tense atmospherics and Goldsmithian "alien, other" scoring. Glad I snagged it before it went OOP.
