If I'm not mistaken, this upcoming Morricone release has not been mentioned so far over here:

http://soundtrackcollector.com/title/24218/Dritte+Grad%2C+Der#71796

According to the track-listing and the total duration, this CD offers a few minutes of unreleased material. Let's hope the score is now complete.

Enjoy.
Laurent

Hi eda,
I've never seen the film so I'd no idea there were more alternative versions of 'Ipocrisia, love to hear those one day.
And yes, I remember you from the 'Chi Mai' forum your posts were always hugely informative and highly enjoyable......thank you.

Hi all.

We can say that DER DRITTE GRAD has now been upgraded! Sorry for the easy pun but it would be a shame that no alternate version of Ipocrisia would be included in this new release. Basing on the titles of the tracks, it's true there doesn't seem to be any since Ipocrisia was originally called Tutti antenne, tutti gone on the LP. But one never knows since this new CD might also offer montages of two different tracks.

Besides, Didier explained in the lemma of this score on his site why two tracks previously available on the LP are now missing:

http://www.chimai.com/index.cfm?module=MUS&mode=MIS&id=5553

Fondati timori actually stems from UNA LUCERTOLA...while Dolcemente ambigua is from PEUR SUR LA VILLE. So by eliminating the alien tracks, it seems Saimel has really tried to gather only the stuff that Morricone wrote specifically for that movie.

I had seen that video when it was posted a year ago, but the music in it didn't strike me as a Morricone piece. Fortunately, now I know it is smile

Thanks Eda. I somehow knew I was right to pass on this release. I indeed can't afford all these reissues featuring only a couple of extra tracks. By the way, can you tell me if the expanded THE CHOSEN has more to offer?

Yes yes yes, Laurent, absolutely true!

Same for LA RAGION PURA, if you remember i have also posted unreleased 1-2 video-fragments, where the piano theme is unreleased, same for new LE CASSE or Il Principe Del Deserto my guess and many others.

Le Clan des Siciliens, and not only Morricone, ..... Cipriani, Savina, Trovajoli... and others too. 1-2 track remains unreleased

La Smagliatura this stuff is unreleased so far

As for latest HOLOCAUST CD by BEAT RECORDS, there is more inedits they offered.

But to me, that score almost unfamiliar except 3-4 tracks i always loved (Main theme,

To me Inedits tracks - jsut repeated alternate versions....

Well maybe in case i would be fan of this film/ score i enjoyed, but i didn't listen to it very carefully.

I'm more expected such as PIAZZA DI SPAGNA expanded and many others.

Sorry, i can't tell more, i can only send to your e-mail all the unreleased/new inedits tracls of CHOSEN for preview..

Hi eda-88,
I am also interested in the unreleased tracks from The Chosen, after the BEAT edition. In which language do you have it ?
You know my email address. Thanks a lot.
