I know I`m gonna get beaten for that one.

Just listened to Intrada`s release of JINGLE ALL THE WAY. Track 5 is called „Howard & Jamie“. This track is called „Father and Son“ on the original TVT soundtrack album and “Helping your Son” on Newman`s original Promo-CD.

What I find interesting is that on both the TVT and the Newman version at around 1:55 the theme played by the sampled flute is very prominent while it is barely audible on the Intrada CD.

Don`t get me wrong I love the Intrada release but the missing melody on that track is a bit annoying.

Well, that's a mixing preference. And the track titles are often (if not all the time) required to match what's on the cue sheets, even if a word is mispelled.

I find it frustrating too when a release has a instrument heard prominently, but a deluxe edition has it dialed down.
