Yeah nice house. When i lived there i was a fabulous shot, a brilliant burglar, could lip read thru binoculars and was especially good at putting on my dressing gown and drinking red wine but did my best to avoid the bomb in the car.

It looks like it's had more than a few makeovers since it's 70's Bronson days. To differing degrees of taste. Rumor has it that at one time the late singer Prince occupied the premises.

Good lord. I liked it much more in the 1970s. I hate all that nee-classical kitsch that they installed.
They love tearing stuff down and building it back up in Los Angeles so that every private residence now resembles a Mediterranean style banquet hall on steroids.
Just one example.
Not long after actor James Stewart died in 1997, his classic Tudor style home in Hollywood which he shared with his wife Gloria for decades was sold to a developer who upon entering it labeled it "a dump" and proceeded to quickly bulldoze it, while gobbling up an adjacent lot to build yet another of these massive cookie cutter Mediterranean style villas.
Times change, but history and style doesn't always follow. What happened to Stewart's home is just the way it is now. They want the property not the house. Especially in California. Many other famous older homes with distinct features have also faced the same fate.
