I just bought a cheap used vinyl copy of this 1986 album, which is the score to the mini series OceanQuest. It's one hour of a completely electronic score by Goldstein. Some of it is similar to Tangerine Dream and Kitaro, probably down to the fact that the electronic equipment used is the same. It's a very varied album - some of it is a bit too noisy and digital-sounding but much of it is enjoyable.

Any others who owns this album?

Has he written many other electronic scores?

Bought this when it was originally released, because I'd enjoyed the music while watching the series.

Still love the main theme but haven't actually listened to the whole LP in, well, years. Maybe decades. I think I'll remedy that today.

Other electronic scores by Goldstein are: Shocker, Hello Again, The Quarrel,Liberty, and A Tribute to Jacques Cousteau. At least these are the ones which are all electronic. There are doubtless others.

Hmm...I remember seeing Shocker years ago. I have a feeling that was more of an orchestral score, but maybe I'm wrong.

On the tray insert of the cd jewel case it says music composed and performed by William Goldstein.

Love his HELLO AGAIN score, one of my top 5!

I guess you're right. I just remember the score as not particularly interesting - not a big fan of horror scores in general.
