ALIEN: COVENANT---Michael Fassbender commented on the sequel, "... this ALIEN [COVENANT] is going to be – I’m really excited to see it and everybody in the film was saying that there’s a film that we all wanna see, it’s much scarier than PROMETHEUS, but it’s got that sort of same scope as PROMETHEUS, that imminent sort of disaster feel, that ALIEN had. So it’s kind of a beautiful meeting of both of those films. I’m really excited to see it, I think it’s gonna be super scary, number one. And again, with the massive scope of PROMETHEUS."
GAME OF THRONES---sources say Season 7 will have Daenerys Targaryen visiting the Dragonpit. Season 7 will have only seven episodes.
BATMAN---sources say Ben Affleck's releasing the video of Deathstroke is his confirmation that Deathstroke is the movie's main villain. Joe Manganiello is rumored to playing Deathstroke. One fan generated artwork showing his concept of Manganiello as Deathstroke.
THE INCREDIBLES 2---Brad Bird commented on the sequel, “Hopefully it’s the same characters and feel, but going in a new direction. I mean, that’s the trick with a sequel. It’s repeating yourself, without repeating yourself.”
TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT---Liam Garrison (ONCE UPON A TIME) will play King Arthur in the sequel.
BAYWATCH---Zac Efron's movie character is Matt Brody, a gold medal-winning Olympic swimmer who was convicted of committing a crime and became a lifeguard as part of his community service program.
GRIMM---NBC announced Season 6 will be the last season and involves Nick versus Captain Renard.
PRETTY LITTLE LIARS---Season 7 will be last season and premiers in April, 2017.
LET THE RIGHT ONE IN---TNT pilot underway based on the vampire novel and movie.
G.L.O.W.---Alison Brie will star in the Netflix series about a struggling young actress who gets involved in women's professional wrestling.
OUTLANDER---Australian actor Dave Berry will play Lord John Grey, who is described as, "a steadfast and honorable British subject, torn between a finely-honed sense of familial duty and a strong moral compass of right and wrong. He is boyishly handsome with an upper class rearing - the consummate gentleman. However, a scandal from his past has relegated Lord John to an undesirable position as governor of a desolate prison in Northern Scotland."
Season 3 is based on VOYAGER, the third novel in the series.
ZOMBIELAND---writers Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese commented on the sequel, "That is breaking news that we're on ZOMBIELAND right now. We're sitting with Woody [Harrelson] tomorrow and are going to sort of walk him through some of the stuff we want to do. All the cast is pretty excited."
DANCING WITH THE STARS---Season 23 contestants include Ryan Lochte, Maureen McCormick, Marilu Henner, Gov. Rick Perry and Amber Rose.

I hope this turns out to be more of an '18' than the '12' rating that Prometheus got. But I'm not holding my breath.

So, more of a mini-series then, than a season?

Noooo. The trick with a sequel is to move the characters forward in some meaningful way, which will by definition mean it's not repeating the story of the original. So 'new direction' might work, but again, I'm not holding my breath.
