Interestingly (well sort of) Sean Connery was 46 when he played an ageing Robin Hood...the same age as Russell Crowe was when he played the early days of Robin Hood in that dire film of the same name.

Yes and in true Ridley fashion one of the scenes, 'When you go, you go ...' was a straight lift from the prison scene.

A very good movie ruined by a bad ending.
