None came in jewel cases, though all inserts are preserved, so I'll need to get around to buying cases for everything. Otherwise, the best soundtrack deal I'll likely ever come across. There were a few titles I passed on that I already have including the FSM Battle for Planet of the Apes as well as some Incredible Hulk TV scores that I wasn't interested in. I also forgot to omit Twilight Zone:The Movie for the list I sent the seller as I already have that so I now have a spare copy. Otherwise, deal of a lifetime!

Let us give a moment of silence for the poor collector so desperate for money he or she parted with all these scores.

He had a family emergency that took priority. Very sad situation. He said that soundtracks were the least of his worries now and they needed to move on. He was very glad to know that I'm keeping them for my own enjoyment and not eBay!

At about $5 per title, that a GREAT freakin' deal. Congrats!

EDIT: Too bad about the seller's situation, though.

Idk personally I would offer more than that if someone is that desperate to sell that many great scores. But he did offer them that low. Sad whenever someone has to do this.

Early on in my first eBay days I bought some very rare 50's and 60's LPs from a fellow who had scores of listings on eBay every week. At some point I had contact on one purchase from a friend who was helping him with listing and fulfillment who let on that this person was selling off a collection that went into the thousands to finance his chemotherapy. After a while his listings just stopped and I presumed that this poor soul had passed away.

His friend said years previous this guy had built an addition on his house just to house his collection of LPs. I find myself thinking that I should let my son know where to dispose of my collection when I shuffle off this mortal coil (especially now that I'm less than a year away from the big seven-O.)

Come on over here for another visit Mark, we'll help you feel a whole lot younger, and add years to your innings!

I hope I haven't given the impression that I ripped the poor guy off with a low-ball deal. To the best of my knowledge he wasn't desperate to sell. The collection just wasn't something that interested him any longer due to his situation. He had everything priced out and I simply selected titles from his list and payed the price he wanted. He did offer some very scarce titles like Ghostbusters for an ridiculously low price and suggested I sell it on eBay for $100! I couldn't, in good conscious, do that. He was glad to know that a poor college student is giving them a loving home.

$100 for Ghostbusters? Hmmm, and I was thinking about trying to trade it out mine for a couple of current Intrada or LaLa CDs big grin

So looks like there's still a bit left with this guy, I'm only after Ghostbusters but the Buy it All special is pretty epic if I say so myself. I'm sure if you've already got some of these you could probably trade with some other FSM'ers here. I've already tried talking to him about shipping to Canada, looks like USA only folks. I hope someone here can snag these! (and if you do - let us know about it) smile

I have a bunch of rare and original CD music scores and soundtracks for sale, including the score to Ghostbusters as pictured, which sells for $260 on ebay and even more on Amazon. My copy, which is in excellent condition, can be yours for only $25. I have many other scores that go for over $100 that I am selling cheap. They are: Harry In Your Pocket ($20), Body Double by Intrada ($20), Point Break ($20), Something Wicked This Way Comes ($10), Krull ($10), Femme Fatale (DePalma) ($10), The Challenge ($5), Beneath The Planet of The Apes ($10), The Swimmer ($10), Bananas by Woody Allen ($10), Blazing Saddles ($10), Species ($5), Rambo ($5), Gypsy Moths ($5) and Living Dead at Manchester Morgue ($10). Or, you can take them all for $100. If you want them through the mail, call or text me at [see ad]
