Underrated Hitch; actually quite a jewel of a film.

Even critics who supported the director decided to pass on this one. The big Hitch seemed to be the ending.

One of my favorite scenes in 1958's "Gigi" is a sequence in which Aunt Alicia is training Gigi to become a courtesan and they are reviewing the different types of stones in Aunt Alicia's jewel box.

Aunt Alicia: "And this is...?"

Gigi: "A topaz?

Aunt Alicia: "A TOPAZ? Among my jewels, are you MAD?"

Wow! I'm so glad that YOU posted that clue, and not ME, Ron!
If I had done it, BillCarson would have already showed up with his Clue Police to haul my butt off to eternal incarceration!

Dear oh dear. Ron, thats a disgraceful Kinsinger style lets name the film thinly disguised as a clue!!
Like a giraffe in dark glasses trying to get into a polar bears only golf club!!! smile

I waited four days. If folks haven't gotten it yet, that's too bad.

Am immune to rebuffs in a thread that says "WHAT'S THE TITLE OF THIS MOVIE"...not "WHAT'S YOUR HINT FOR THE TITLE OF THIS MOVIE?"

wink

I think so too, Chickenhearted. Admittedly some flatlining bits along the way, but the escape scenes in Copenhagen (?) and the interior scenes of the militants' headquarters were knicker-gripping!
