THE ESCAPE---trailer released for the latest Clive Owen/BMW Films short film.

Trailer link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hNDgwzpIE6c

JUMANJI---Kevin Hart released a photo from the sequel showing Hart, Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan and Jack Black.

ROBIN HOOD: ORIGINS---Jamie Dornan (FIFTY SHADES OF GREY) is in talks to play Will Scarlet in the movie.

BREED---movie underway based on the novel about a wealthy, childless New York couple who use an Eastern European fertility clinic with horrifying results. Karyn Kusama (THE INVITATION) is the director.

THE CASE OF: JONBENET RAMSEY---the CBS docuseries team of experts concluded that JonBenet's brother, Burke, accidentally killed her, and their parents covered it up by claiming she had been kidnapped. One of the experts said, "They would do anything for their children. ... She said she would have nothing else to live for if she lost Burke. ... That seemed to me motive to cover up for Burke."
Earlier, Burke denied he killed his sister on DR. PHIL, "Look at the lack of evidence or the lack thereof...I don’t know what to say to that because I know that’s not what happened. There’s been a few people that said that’s not even physically possible for a 9-year-old to do that.”
The experts included forensic scientist Dr. Henry Lee, ex-FBI profiler Jim Clemente, ex-Boulder, Colorado DA chief investigator James Kolar, forensic pathologist Dr. Werner Spitz, ex-New Scotland Yard behavior expert Laura Richards, statement analyst Stan Burke and forensic linguists expert James Fitzgerald.

WARHOL---Jared Leto (SUICIDE SQUAD) will star in this Andy Warhol biomovie. The script is by Terence Winter (THE WOLF OF WALL STREET).

The new Jumanji looks more like that terrible Land of the Lost film with Will Ferrell than the Joe Johnston film I enjoyed many years ago.
Swerve!!!

Jumanji does look like a real piece of crap.

Passengers looks like a space cruise ship/Gravity/dating game overproduced sci fi channel movie

Couldn't disagree more. I think it looks absolutely fantastic -- it exceeded my expectations by far! So many visual ideas going on there, it's a marvel to watch. Hopefully, the whole film is able to match up to the trailer.

I've heard the f-bomb dropped on FX's Tyrant recently, and they do uncensored versions of Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll On Demand. I wonder if this will give SyFy the go ahead to release Season 2 uncensored on air, or if there are too many f-bombs (like in S&D&R&R, there were a lot in Season 1) for them to get away with that without it being On Demand.

I agree, it looks great to me. It looks like a big, entertaining adventure/sci fi drama, with two likeable ( well, I like them ) actors. It doesn't look like a SERIOUS MOVIE , or Oscar bait, thank goodness. It just looks like a good movie.

And what's with getting "uncensored" versions of TV shows online? Can they not tell the story well enough without added profanity or sexual content? It's like comic books, which STILL have the same problem with writers thinking they're writing comics for a grown up audience just by adding profanity or cussing.

If the story is good enough to begin with why do they need to have an uncensored version?

Okay, I need to step in for a moment to defend LAND OF THE LOST. Yes, as an adaptation of the 70s series, it's an abject failure, but as a Will Ferrell movie, it's one of his most underrated; packed with gags (albeit low-brow, but very funny) and far superior to the outtake-reels-masquerading-as-movies that people worship him for (STEP BROTHERS, THE OTHER GUYS).

Also, despite the schizophrenia, Michael Giacchino's score is also one of his most underrated.

As for this new movie, it could be good, if the script is right. (The '95 movie was okay, but I'd say that the cartoon was better.)

Well, the third act seems to be very serious indeed; it certainly seems to be a film that shifts tone radically at that point. Potential for coolness there.

Agreed about Jumanji, although I hope I'm wrong about my suspicion that Karen Gillan's role has shades of Robin Williams' one in the original - one of the cast members looks like she could be a younger version of her...
